The design captures the spirit of Canada through its whimsical depiction of a beaver adventurer paddling a canoe down one of the many rivers in Canada, with a stylized Spruce fir forest in the background. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati.
