Designed by Steve Hepburn, your coin features Prince Edward Island’s beautiful coastal scenery. A blue sports car travels along a route inspired by the Points East Coastal Drive, which winds past farmland, beaches and iconic landmarks such as the Panmure Island Lighthouse. The image is framed by stylized icons that represent popular outdoor activities and sights in Canada
The obverse features the year “2019” and face value “3 DOLLARS”, and the framed effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

- The historic Panmure Head Lighthouse (shown here) is one of 63 lighthouses found on Prince Edward Island. In fact, Canada’s island province boasts morethan 1,000 kilometres of coastline, which can be accessed via three great coastal drives, including the Points East Coastal Drive that inspired this coin design.
