In 1873, the Canadian government established the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) to bring law and order to the country's Western Frontier. This momentous event is celebrated in this 1998 125th Anniversary of the RCMP Brilliant Uncirculated Sterling Silver Dollar Coin. The coin features an image of a RCMP officer in original uniform, riding a horse. On the left side of the horse are the dates 1873 and 1998. This coin offers a beautiful way to recognize the efforts of the RCMP in Canada.
